About me

Hi, I'm Jess, founder of Firebowl

I’m a coach and culture consultant with over 30 years’ experience working in communications, engagement and leadership. Throughout my career, I’ve helped organisations and individuals connect meaningfully and communicate more clearly, creating environments where people can thrive.

My work today is shaped by both my professional experience and my personal life. As a solo mum of three neurodivergent children, and discovering my own ADHD later in life, I understand what it means to live and work outside the “expected” systems. I know how exhausting it can be to feel like you don’t quite fit, and how powerful it is when things finally start to make sense.

Find your fire and step into your power.

Before coaching full-time, I spent 35 years working as a leader in corporate communications, culture, and people engagement. I understand workplace dynamics, leadership pressures, and the complexities of navigating professional environments with a neurodivergent brain.

Alongside individual and family coaching, I work with businesses to upskill leaders and managers so that all staff and volunteers can belong, contribute, and thrive at work.

My professional qualifications include:

  • Certificate in Professional Coaching Practice (2009), Level 1 International Coach Federation (ICF)
  • Advanced ICF-accredited ADHD Coach training with the Neurodiversity Training Academy (2025)
  • BA Honours Art in a Community Context and Educational Studies (2:1)
  • Mental Health First Aid trained
  • Enhanced DBS
  • Professional Indemnity Insurance.

I am committed to ongoing professional development and ethical coaching practice.

Firebowl is a safe place where you can learn to better understand yourself, accept and be accepted and then start to truly thrive.

Firebowl brings all of this together. This is a space where people can feel heard, understood and supported, whether that’s individuals finding their confidence, families navigating ADHD, or organisations building cultures where everyone can contribute and belong.

At the heart of everything I do is a simple belief: You can find your fire. ADHD is not the problem, it’s the fuel.
